THE LOW BACK COURSE

Lumbar spine course with live patient demonstrations

The goal of this course is to have a biopsychososial approach to treating low back pain. Much of the inspiration is from Peter O´Sullivan and Cognitive Functional Therapy.
We will also look at relevant movement patterns that can cause symptoms. Both flexionpatterns and extension patterns will be discussed according to the Shirley Sahrman concept. There will be demonstrations of relevant mobilisations techniques, neuromobilisation techniques and muscular "release techniques"
We will also look at adjacent areas like the pelvis, hip and gluteal and hamstring tendinopathy.
The course includes both teaching and practical training on asessment, exercises an techniques
There will also be 2-4 live patient demonstrations during the course.
